Duo Cover 2.0 works by covering your food in the microwave, preventing splatters while simultaneously distributing heat and steam evenly for faster, better-tasting meals. It also includes microwave-safe magnets for convenient, hidden storage by attaching to the top of your microwave when not in use.
Science is hard, so let’s break it down! Duo Cover 2.0 excites the H2O molecules in your food, generating steam. By locking in moisture, the cover steams food more evenly and makes leftovers taste less like leftovers (if ya know what we mean!).
We believe in only using the best of the best materials. Duo Cover 2.0 is BPA-free, FDA-approved, and made from 100% food-safe silicone.
The Stow-Away Mate is the perfect solution for those who want that same convenient microwave storage but do not have a magnetic microwave.
Here are a few things you can do beforehand to make sure you choose the right option for you:
- Check to see if your microwave is magnetic!
- If your microwave is NOT magnetic, the Stow-Away Mate is perfect for you.
- When purchasing your Duo Cover 2.0 for a NON-magnetic microwave, opt for the version that comes with the 'Stow-Away Mate'. This will enable you to hang your Duo Cover 2.0 in the microwave despite not having a magnetic surface for it to stick to.
- If you add the Stow-Away Mate to the roof of your microwave, make sure you remove the Duo Cover 2.0 from the hang rack before using the microwave.
Leaving the Duo Cover 2.0 on the hang rack while the microwave is in use, may cause the hang rack to deform and change colors as the Duo Cover 2.0 heats up and subsequently exposes the Stow-Away Mate to excessive heat.
What is this, 1849?! Duo Cover 2.0 is 100% dishwasher friendly! Just toss it on the top rack between a few of those dishwasher spokes and face downward. If you prefer, you can also hand wash it with warm water and dish soap. Either way, cleanup has literally never been easier!
