Ingredients

    medium apples (cored & sliced)
  • 2
    tbsp butter (cubed)
  • 2
    tbsp brown sugar
  • tsp cinnamon
  • For the crumble:
  • 8
    tbsp old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 4
    tbsp brown sugar
  • 4
    tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 4
    tbsp butter
  • 1
    tsp cinnamon
  • ¼
    tsp ground nutmeg

Step 1

Make the crumble: in a separate bowl, combine all the ingredients for the crumble.

Step 2

Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and cubed butter in a microwave safe wide medium deep dish or ceramic pie plate (6-cup capacity). Cover with Duo Cover and microwave for 5 minutes at Power Level 10.

Step 3

Remove dish from the microwave and sprinkle the cooked apples with the crumble topping.

Step 4

Cook for 5 minutes at Power Level 10 uncovered or until the juices are bubbling.

Step 5

Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
