Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1
    lb. Brussles sprouts (halved)
  • 2
    tbsp olive oil
  • 2
    tbsp honey
  • tsp red pepper (flakes)
  • 4
    tbsp pomegranate seeds (garnish)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Garnishes

  • Pomegranate seeds

Step 1

Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil and red pepper flakes in a microwave safe large deep bowl (6-cup capacity). Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Cover with Duo Cover.

Step 3

Cook the Brussels sprouts for 3 minutes at Power Level 10.

Step 4

Remove Duo Cover and drizzle the honey over the Brussels sprouts.

Step 5

Char the Brussels sprouts in a heated grill pan (optional if you want them perfectly crisped) .

Step 6

Serve warm, topped with pomegranate seeds.

Vegan Option: substitute honey for maple syrup.
